IBA: on the way back from home today - $2.97 Gas!

yesterday it was $3.02, which just about knocked my socks off. this is for premium unleaded (10% ethanol) which gets a 10 cent break from state tax.

almost can't wait to gas up so I can see how we stack up here on Long Island--was still $4.09 for premium last week though so I don't think we've dropped that much!

Ranging from $3.49 to $3.99 at most stations around here (low is regular-high premium) Give or take 5 or 10 cents depending on "name brand" or Joe Blow's finest petrol products...Sigh--someday maybe we will be back under 3 bucks too!
