No need to bring food with you, food prices at Walmart are pretty much in line with what you pay in teh states.
Besides, you cannot bring in meat or fruits and veggies from the U.S. to Mexico.

First of all I would say prices are about the same as far as meat etc but I did find the produce and bakery items to be much cheaper than here...I also suggest you go to Soriana's insead of Walmart..it is only about 4 blocks past and is a much nicer store with a better variety of everything...I have suggested this to a few people and they have come back to thank me saying they would never go to Walmart again...by the way their own brand coffee in a red bag is excellent...I brought back as much as I could fit in my suitcase... take a taxi here as it is on a circle that is very difficult to cross even if you get off at walmart & taci it from there...you will not be sorry

or chili beans if i remember corectly. Bush's Baked beans 28 ounce can is $1.19 at Fareway!! tim

Tim you are right...I always bring cranberry sauce..apple sauce & beans...also brought down red kidney beans for a friend.....

At the grocery store do they accept visa or should you pay with american money thanks

that is the only place we do grocery shopping there since it opened a couple years ago. Make sure to stop by the bakery section and get some churros right out of the frier!!!!!!
