do you like it? or do you think it's a scam? i like it. we've easily saved $100 plus on some of our trips. i think so highly of it and the tours associated with E Plus that i sell them on my sites. that was an easy decision. i met Brant a few years ago on one of our trips. he gave me a Card to use for our trip. we saved money at some of our fave restaurants with no problema. so, selling it was a no brainer.

so what am i suppose to think when i see a Website that calls the Card a Scam???!!! http://www.cancunfuntours.com/tours.htm not only that, the site contains misleading and false information aimed at E Plus!!

now, some of you also post on Tripadvisor. this guy claims he's the best, and points to Tripadvisor as eveidence he is the best. i would ask you to post on TA what the facts are. gracias, tim

I have never used the EP card in Cancun. I did purchase it about 5 months ago, booked our tours, and at the last minute I had to cancel my trip. In the meantime, Brant, emailed me several times to confirm all of our excursions and roundtrip transportation. Sounds to me like he did a good job, and we never had to pay for the card because we never actually were able to use it!! This trip, I will definately purchase the card. Brant is A+++ all the way.

How about this for honesty.
We booked the private tour to Xel-Ha for 5 people and when it was time to take the tour and pay the driver the Mexican exchange rate had gone up and we actually had to pay LESS then we were quoted in American dollars!!!!!

My only suggestion would be that everyone likes Happy hour right? Usually from 3 to 6pm or 4 to 7pm. How about arranging with some of the restaurants and bars that happy hour is all day if you have the 2 x 1 card. They make enough money on the booze anyway so if I am drinking you know you will be eating at least appetizers and other things.

I went to cancun in Jan 06 and and bought the card from Tim. Saved me and my friends lots of needed $$$$ in the bars and clubs.. Certainly a no brainer... to save or not to save. Thanks Tim.

When we stay in Cancun we always use the card, and we've always saved money ... it's well worth the cost!

We would never go without it.. We have used it on all but our first trip (didn't know about it )

It always saves us $$ and the customer service is outstanding!! On a trip in Feb of 05 we had the card but I was sick for most of the trip and didn't leave the hotel much so we didn't get a chance to use it ... I was offered a refund!! Where else could you get that kind of service... we didn't take the refund, of course, but just the offer impressed me.

I can't believe what I read on that website. They are obviously insinuating that Brant is a scam artist.

For the record, I have purchased his 2x1 card 3 times and it has always paid for itself in savings. (I honestly can't say that I saved $100s, but I can see how some would definitely save that much).

Brant's tour prices are the lowest I could find in Cancun. I will always check with Brant before booking a tour. (Here I probably have saved $100's at least last year)

I've used Brant's transportation service 3 times and have always been picked up on time. You pay at time of the service, no deposit needed.

Brant is a local. He may have "just come down on vacation" as that website states, but how many years has it been that he's been living there? I've never had any trouble getting ahold of Brant if I needed him while down there. I've met him and he has always been a stand up guy!

This last trip, I was talking with a couple that were staying at the same hotel and they were asking about tours. I proudly recommended Brant, and gave them the website. (I sure hope they checked him out)

It's a shame that some people resort to these kind of smear tactics in order to get business.

Brant has been in business with the 2X1 card since 1999. It's not easy to keep a business going (especially in Cancun) if you don't deliver what you proimise.
If e-plus were a scam, he would have been long gone.

After you clear customs and you have to walk the gauntlet of all the timeshare/transfer rip off people. Every one of them asks you who your transfers are with and after I mentioned Brants Company they all said either that he was out of business or there won't be a van outside, they said all sorts of lies about Brants Company just to try to get you to switch. I have been through the line too many times so I know the scam but what about all the first timers?
What a way to start your vacation worrying that you have been took already.
You finally get out the airport door and there is the man with the card with your name on it. Home at last.

I also booked my Royal Resort Transfer through Brant. He had a van show up at 11:00 check out time we went from VCI to the Royal Islander. Plenty of room and we had all the luggage of 5 people which would have been two taxis if we had gone that route.
I just called him when we were in Cancun and asked if his company could do the transfer and he said no problem.

The 2x1 card is NOT a scam. I've only used the 2x1 card a couple of times, and we loved the savings. I would buy one for every trip, except we prefer to go all-inclusive and really don't need the 2x1 card.

I have used the card for years and NEVER had a problem, but more importantly, you usually pay for it if you only use it once. Use it more than once and it's like a part time job. LOL

Brant, like other business owners in Cancun, had to regroup after Wilma but the new card is up and running and there are plenty of places to use it. Hell, how many places can you have dinner at in a week anyway. Something like 7 if my math is right.

I have seen Brant bend over backwards to make a customer happy when they have had to cancel trips, tours, etc. or failed to pick up their card when he has it waiting for them at their hotel at check in.
