When we get to Cancun I want to purchase some grocery type items and was wondering if we MUST go into Wal Mart for reasonable prices or if there is a grocery type store on the hotel strip with reasonable prices. Thanks for the info!

They will do the grocery shopping for you and deliver it. I just placed my order for next week. I'd rather spend my time doing other things.

There are some small shops in the hotel zone. Prices are going to be higher that at Wal-Mart. We are close to the Forum, and there is one in there that is a drug store and has some food items. We supplement as needed from there.

From what I have seen the Hotel Zone prices are all high...best bet is Walmart or Soriana's take a bus then taxi back... it's worth it....
