This was the day we were going to the pool to relax. So we met for breakfast in the hotel.

I had oatmeal like mom used to make and sliced banana and toast and we had juices and coffee. At the restaurant you get free glasses of orange juice after the first one—nice…It was a wonderful cancun sunny morn. After breakfast we went to the business center internet and enjoyed the hi speed computers…then we went to our rooms to get ready for the beach…

We were simpatico in our swim attire—danette would allow no pictures so I can describe that she met me in shorts and we proceeded to the crowded pool around 11 where we finally ended up in the kids section—no problems and met a nice couple with kids from Jacksonville, fla. We pulled two lounge chairs and had an umbrella placed between us.

Danette took off her shorts to reveal a black bikini and toned body looking very good….she got in the pool, so I got out of my baggies and into the water in my black mid cut swim wear and we really enjoyed the day. We ordered nachos and chips for lunch and 2 mojitos each and plenty of pool fun and enjoying our day. The mojitos had plenty of fresh peppermint and rum and were strong. We stayed down there for several hours. Getting up to stroll the beach also happened…as did a dip in the ocean….

In the mean time Len and Mary were packing up to leave the next morn and were going to have a romantic dinner together, so I talked to them, and Len informed me he would pick me up in Orlando the next week—that was very kind of him. We had had a good week together and we said our goodbyes.

After our afternoon at the pool we decided on a light meal so we ate in the coral café and got panninis…pressed Italian sandwiches and cappuccinos. This is a cool little place—perfect French pastry too and ice cream and cookies--great

We had some discussing to do….tomorrow was check out—here was the plan—we were checking out at 12 noon, and being picked up at 1pm by JUAN PABLO—the 18 year old son of the rich guy who owns the condo in bayview grand. We knew that much….then we would be taken to our fabulous condo on the ocean at chaac mool--- public beach---
Pounding surf

to begin danette’s new week on vacation. We were going to have one night alone before her kids got there—on Sunday….And on Monday we were take a full day to isla mujeres…I was excited about that after lens near heat stroke there and very short time there.

We had some left overs to take to our rooms too—we bid each other goodnite—danette needed her quiet time on this trip and I too enjpyed being in my robe watching CNN….poor danette still to tired to dance with little ole me----She REALLY loved the hotel—because--

Tomorrow the hotel exit and very INTERESTING condo caper…..

Thanks for your trip reports so far. I'm really enjoying them. I've always admired the Coral Beach - it's a beautiful hotel. Too bad the fantasy has to end. Looking forward to seeing the Bayview condos. Don't keep us waiting too long for the next installment!
Re: Nice Pics Greg! Thanks.
