Has anybody been to the Royal Solaris lately? I am leaving to go there on April 13 and I have not been there in a couple years. Just want to see how it is and if anything has changed?

Lisbeth -- we usually go there every year in Feb, but missed this year. Last year, they had recovered nicely from the hurricanes, and had improved their services in several areas. The one downside, that seems to be permanent, are the elevators... many days only one works.

We were there 2 weeks ago. Lots of improvements since Wilma damage. Beach was fine. No sea lice. Food was very good at Marco Polo or Venetto. Service excellent as always. No problems at all. I think they may have replaced a few of the elevators as they seemed to be OK, although they really should install fans. Some w/laptops had difficulty getting a signal in the lobby, but nonetheless you'll have a great time.
