Chichen Itza Tour Options

Chichen Itza is the most impressive of all the Mayan ruins. Find out for yourself why the Mayan culture was the most advance in the world. "El Castillo" pyramid has 91 steps x 4 sides and the one on top for a total of 365. The first known calendar, more accurate than the one we use today was made by the Mayans. Visit the "ball court" for the game where the winners only had a one game winning streak, as they were then beheaded.

From your hotel in Cancun or the Riviera Maya, there are several choices for tours to Chichen Itza. I will outline the options here so you can choose the one that suits you best.

Leaves daily on a set schedule. Bus will make many hotel stops to pickup people, but this is a great way to save money on your tour. Includes transportation, entrance, guide, lunch & a stop at a fresh water cenote.

Child Rate: $39 USD

Public Chichen Itza & Ek Balam:

Chichen Itza Private Express:
Set your own schedule with our private tours. Explore Chichen Itza and Valladolid at your own pace. Our Express tour does not include lunch, but the driver can suggest restaurants for you. Includes van and driver for the day, entrance into Chichen Itza, tolls, parking, taxes & insurance. Does not include guide in the ruins.

Chichen Itza Private w/Lunch & cenote:
Same tour as the Express but we add on a stop at Ik Kil cenote and a buffet lunch. This is the most popular option for private Chichen Itza tours. When you finish at Chichen Itza your driver is waiting to take you to Ik Kil cenote to swim in the fresh water and enjoy a gourmet lunch of traditional Yucatan dishes.

Adults starting at: $79 USD
Child Rate: $29 USD

Chichen Itza, Cenote w/Lunch & Ek Balam**from Cancun hotels:
The ultimate in Mayan Culture tours, this option takes you to Chichen Itza, cenote Ik Kil for lunch and swimming, then to a second site of Mayan ruins called Ek Balam. Ek Balam was only uncovered several years ago so the carvings are much more distinct. Here you can climb the pyramid of Ek Balam to the very top.

Adults starting at: $89 USD
Child Rate: $39 USD

Chichen Itza, Cenote w/Lunch & Coba**from Riviera Maya hotels:
Similar to the tour above with Ek Balam, except we take you to Coba instead. Chichen Itza tours already involve quite a bit of drive time so we offer this option to people staying in the Riviera Maya. Coba is a large site of ruins, one of the tallest pyramids and you can also climb it.

Adults starting at: $89 USD
Child Rate: $39 USD
