I lived in Cancun five years ago. On a recent vacation I realized that I miss the non-stop partying and the relaxed attitude, everyone seems to have. What I don't miss is all the gossip that takes place and being from a major city, Cancun can feel, too small.
P.S Of course I miss the lazy days at the beach.
