I was very disappointed myself in the furniture I was finding in Cancun. My husband and I have a condo soon to be completed in Cancun. We are searching as you are. I will be glad to share any information I get with you if you will return the favor. I found Sealy and other name brand mattresses at Costoc and living room, comfortable and cushy furniture at Sears. Sears had a beautiful cream - to light lemon leather sectional that was wonderful. It was available in several colors. I don't care for the thin cushion sofas on a slab that seem to be so popular in Mexico.
