: Punta Nizuc (knee zook) at the southern most tip of the hotel zone near Club Med is a federal park that has some really up close and personal reef snorkelling. As part of the park, you must wear a life preserver and there are boats patrolling to checkup. There is a $1.00USD entrance fee. We used Aqua World to book a whole day at the mothership including drinks from 9 to 5. The guides were familiar with the reefs (there are two lines of reef) and made the trip really enjoyable.
