CancunMX was originally started by Tim Sissle back in 1997. Back then, things on the internet were very different. Now, my husband Tomas and I (Trina) have taken over the site and we hope to continue the tradition of bringing information about Cancun to everone who is looking for it.

We really love alll the details that Tim has put into the site and we want to take that and expand on it. Coming soon will be a hotel listing with ratings and comments. Feel free to email us if you have an suggestions for our site.

Tomas and I have lived here in Cancun since 2003. When we moved here we didn't know much about Cancun or too many people, but it didn't take us long to meet some wonderful people. Locals and expats both really went out of their way to make us feel welcome in the beautiful coastal city.

The biggest advantage we have is that we actually live and work in Cancun and we have first-hand access everything. Restaurants, beaches, hotels, and information about what's happening in Cancun is right at our fingertips.
